Back to a Regular Week--For Real This Time!

Okay. Here it is. A regular Monday! We haven't had one of these since December 17th. Starting off the week feeling great is a nice change. Since new year's day, baby has gotten a cold, Andrew got a slight cold, and the flu hit me real hard two different times. Thankfully, we are all feeling much better this week :) The Jr. was my cooking and shopping buddy today. He was very good in the grocery store and at JC Penney. We spent a while looking through the jewelry and intimates departments (woah, clearance racks!), and he was so patient with me, even though he looked bored to death. As we waited in line to check out, baby kept saying, "Hi," to the cashier. At the grocery store (or anywhere else we go), I must always remember to have snacks in my purse. I'm really starting to feel more like a mom now!

This February will be Andrew's first full year of working for Honeywell! Time went by so fast, and we still feel as, if not more, grateful as the day he got hired. Next week, he has his very first business trip in Kentucky. There will be several miles between us...for the first time ever. And this means I will be a single parent for 4.5 days. What to do...what to do...Off to grandmothers' houses we go! :)

Baby's current words/phrases: Hi, What's that?, What's this?, mama, dada, oooo!, mmmm!

For dinner, we made gluten-free personal-sized pizzas. This time the crust contained a few different flours (almond, buckwheat, millet and brown rice). The buttery garlic layer was a bit too salty this time...but mistakes can be seen as a good thing.
