Nice Afternoon Visit

At 1:30PM this afternoon, Baby and I let Aunt Lorie and Great-Grandma inside for a nice visit :) They loved seeing Andrew Jr. again, especially since Aunt Lorie hadn't seen him since Christmas. He was able to show her how he plays Peek-A-Boo, sits upright on his own, gets into the crawling position, laughs out loud, and feels 20 lbs. heavier. Great-Grandma had a bunch of old pictures with her that she had just gotten developed from an old 1961 roll of film. It was fun looking through all of the images with her :)

Looking Like a Little Boy

This is taken from our second photoshoot yesterday -- yes, we had two photoshoots in one day. And he looks like a little boy to Andrew and I. I don't know if we're ready for him to grow up yet.

In four days, he'll be seven months old!

Mom and Son Photo Day

It was about time for another photoshoot with baby :) Andrew and I love playing Peek A Boo with him when he lays on the bed. We pop our beds up and he laughs every time. He loves to be free without a onesie on these warm, summer-like days and feel the nice wind that comes in through our windows. It feels like we're at the beach! After a long hour of our photo session (or longer...I lose track of time when taking pictures) he fell right to sleep.

6.5 Months Old

Spring!

Although it isn't officially Spring, it sure feels like it is! Baby got to wear shorts today :) and we opened all of the windows. Nicer weather means more interesting pictures soon to come (better scenery than our apartment.) I'm sure baby will outgrow these shorts by the end of the week.

Grandma Lisa picked up a booster seat for baby. He's been over due for one, and he LOVES it :)

 

 

Happy Birthday Damian!

Today is Damian's birthday! He is 22 years old today. He gave this little Michael Jordan outfit to baby on Christmas, and he has been waiting to see him wear it. Damian loves to work on cars, play sports, and listen to music. We hope he enjoys his birthday on this semi-warm, winter day!

Gaming Headset

It was such a beautiful day today! We had the windows open...it was amazing to feel the wind again (warmer wind I mean). Jr. absolutely loved being near the opened windows. As he was laying on his tummy, he reached his hand toward Andrew's gaming headset. He wanted it real bad, so I put it on his head. I was surprised he could lift it! We have ourselves a strong (and cute) baby boy.

What We Love About Our Bug

What we love about our little bug:

His laughs and watching him learn something new each week. There literally is something new each week. The first video shows what he and I did last night while I was anxiously waiting for Andrew to arrive home with groceries. Baby was pretty fussy for several hours, and when he's like this I love moving close to his face real fast to make him smile and/or laugh. It usually works unless he's very tired. (Sorry, it sounds muffled because I accidentally had my finger over the speaker.)

What he's picked up on this week: Spitting. (Last week was sitting up.)
Yesterday around 3 PM, he started spitting. He's done this for a few months now, but not like this! He spit for 6 hours straight until he went to bed at 9. His shirt was drenched with spit below his chin. That doesn't include his very wet face. Today, I will put a bib on him. He just doesn't want to stop!

Baby's Third Tooth

Flips Head Back; Laughs

Baby was so funny last night! He was sitting on Andrew's lap and kept flipping his head back. He did it several times and looked as though he was bored or making sure Andrew was there to catch him.

Today I had fun kissing baby's chubby cheeks. I love hearing his laugh :)
