He found a way to reach the rest of the banana off the table, peel the banana and eat the other half on his own. Wow! His face and fingers were very gooey and sticky of course.
After he got cleaned up, took his nap, and ran around the apartment for a while, we went to my grandma's house to store heavy boxes of books and a large bin filled with Andrew's clothes (newborn-12 months). Our bedrooms are beginning to echo!
We spent a few hours with grandma--watched Wee Sing, played the piano and helped her organize rummage sale items in her basement. We had a good time with her tonight :)
We had dinner plans for 6:00 at the Perron home, so we headed over there for some good food, and that's just what we got! along with a few other surprises...new couch, recliner, a baby fort, and reorganized diningroom, livingroom and office. It almost felt like a new house! They were happy to show me how their couch reclined. I was ready to fall asleep on it...
Created by Valerie and the boys, this is the coolest box fort I've ever seen. The back had a window with curtains!
Creepy/funny Philip
He loved his fort! He says thank you, Aunt Valerie :)
Chicken stuffed with onion, lemon, and garlic. Topped with basil. Mmm.
Pea pods and applesauce :)
Italian-style butternut squash--tasted sort of like pizza to me. Interesting and very good!
Hot cocoa with homemade coconut whipped cream sprinkled with cinnamon for dessert.
Enjoying his new chair {and his chair only he says}.
